Benzoin
Benzoin, also known as gum Benjamin, is one of the classic ingredients
of incense. In ancient civilizations it was used in fumigation.
Benzoin is an ingredient of 'Friar's balsam', an aid to respiratory
problems that dates back to the middle ages.
